Cuba: we showed you the love, now show us the
money
- President Obama’s historic re-opening of
diplomatic relations has set the stage for
potentially significant new investment
opportunities in Cuba. But we stress
“potentially” as the Castro Brothers now
seem to be slowing considerably with
respect to any reforms.
- Meanwhile, the US Congress is going to
make sure there is no funding of the US
Embassy and will be vigilant on any new
business licenses granted by US Treasury
for banking or foreign trade with Cuba.
- What to watch for: Pope Francis — who was
